As a little girl, I chose Frederick Douglass for a simple book report and have admired him greatly ever since. I believe Mr. Douglass embodied every character trait a good-hearted person would hope to possess. His contribution to American History and shaping America's future, through his incredible wisdom, strength, and courage, in the midst of unspeakable hardships, is a Gift from God, to many hearts so saddened to realize humanity can be capable of such cruelty.
