Aw thanks Bill! I was hoping others would relate- my mom drove us to various swimming holes in PA.. then when I moved to NY, we were fortunate enough to live on a pretty lake. Thanks for the visit! :-)

This beautiful place must have a special meaning to you, Danielle. I love to see places I experienced as a kid if they are still there. My kindergarten school and home in Nebraska are still there after 60 years!.....Fav / Like

Wow Jerry~ that's awesome! It can be bittersweet visiting our childhood spaces & places.. (especially if they've changed a lot). This is one of about ten similar spots w/ good memories... makes me wanna throw down a blanket on that soft grass and unpack the sandwiches. :-)
