Steve McQueen transcends time, like Marilyn Monroe or Clark Gable. Before my time, but a part of my life due to my love of classic films from the thirties until now. Even my daughter, I exposed her to all these classic stars. I mean the legendary Cher is 71 years old, but not so if you saw her receive the Icon Award at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. The Blob is a cult classic, certainly not the Steve McQueen I knew, such as in The Thomas Crown Affair. Just getting his start in 1958. You are most welcome and is always my pleasure to view your talent and artistry. I am glad to know you enjoy my visits. I always hope they are encouraging and inspiring, that is my intent always!! 💕 Janet
Danielle R T Haney replied:
Very true! Classics are the best. Many thanks Janet~ you're thoughtful visits are always appreciated & valued. :-) ♡

Wow Danielle! How creative! Reminds me of the 1958 drive-in movie favorite, and sci-fi classic film, "The Blob." About a gelatinous amoeboidal alien life form, that engulfs everything it touches. It was Steve McQueen's feature film debut. Such an imaginative piece for me Danielle. I love to be taken places with artwork! Well done! LVFV Janet
Danielle R T Haney replied:
haha! Yes, I recall my parents talking about The Blob! Steve was a bit before my time, but I can see why he was the King of Cool. Thanks for stopping by Janet~ I always enjoy your visits!!
