What an interesting looking caterpillar, Danielle. It says don’t touch me. Great macro of this alien looking creature. Janet 💕

I was sad to learn most of these guys get eaten while they're young. :-( They're so bold-looking.. & soooo slooow.. I was rooting for this little one as it took him/her 2 days to move a few inches! Thanks for stopping by Janet! :-)

Oh, my goodness me! This beauty is so very close...such wonderful detail and magical colours, Danielle...love this caterpillar...it makes a very striking abstract...it looks... almost edible lol what a fabulous macro capture!! Bravo! f.l.
Danielle R T Haney replied:
:-D I get what you mean about the almost edible part- it reminds me of a circus! I think the primary colors laid out so beautifully along its back are such a treat for the eyes. It was so exciting to find it (actually, my son did.. I always tell him if any of these images sell- he gets a big portion :-D )...... I only hope this little one moved fast enough to get in a safe spot to transform into a moth... they have so many predators. :-/ Thanks Jolanta!!
